mrcode.io is an online coding class that teaches children and adults how to code. A few years back they made a clicker game and it had been dead for a while.

StatCounts and Subscriber Wars

Website Finder

One time, a Youtuber named "StatCounts" searched up "global cookie clicker", and came across this website. It had approximately 52,000,000 clicks. StatCounts then made a counter for it on his website, and that is when in started to gain traction. Youtuber "Subscriber Wars" made a live stream of it hitting 100,000,000 which kind-of went viral. The website just kept going uphill from that.

Copies of the game

When the game started going uphill, many copies of the game have since been created (hence why this one is in the making). The copies were mainly made in 2021-2022.
